Program Structure

YogaSoul’s 200-hour program combines flexible self-paced study with scheduled weekend immersions. This unique structure allows you to balance your training with your personal and professional commitments, completing the program in just 4–5 months.

In addition to in-person sessions, you’ll complete independent coursework, including reading, practice teaching, class observations, and your personal seva project.

Required Books & Reading List

To deepen your understanding of yoga’s philosophy, anatomy, and practice, our program includes a carefully curated reading list. These books provide essential knowledge to support your training and personal growth.

Required Books (Not included in tuition):

  • Yoga-Sutra of Patanjali – Choose your preferred translation or use the version in The Art of Vinyasa.
  • Yoga Anatomy (Third Edition) – Leslie Kaminoff & Amy Matthews
  • The Art of Vinyasa: Awakening Body and Mind through the Practice of Ashtanga Yoga – Richard Freeman & Mary Taylor
  • Bhagavad Gita – Translation by Stephen Mitchell
  • Light on Pranayama – B.K.S. Iyengar (Optional)

These texts will serve as foundational guides throughout your training, offering insights into alignment, breathwork, philosophy, and the deeper aspects of yoga beyond the mat.

Flow of Your YogaSoul Program

Our thoughtfully structured program is designed to unfold over 4-5 months, giving you the time and space to fully absorb your training while maintaining a regular practice. Each phase builds on the last, blending study, practice, and hands-on teaching experience.

Month One
  • Gather all required books and establish a consistent yoga practice (4-6x weekly).
  • Complete the "You" worksheet before the first immersion weekend.
  • Attend Immersion Weekends One & Two.
  • Begin reading The Art of Vinyasa and Bhagavad Gita.
  • Select your Special Project and Seva (service) program.
Month Two
  • Attend Immersion Weekends Three & Four.
  • Maintain regular practice and deepen your studies.
  • Read Chapter Two of Yoga Sutra.
  • Begin your Seva program and Special Project.
  • Study Yoga Anatomy and Light on Pranayama.
  • Start practice teaching at home and in the studio.
Month Three
  • Attend Immersion Weekends Five & Six.
  • Read Chapter Three of Yoga Sutra.
  • Continue working on your Special Project and Seva program.
  • Assist, observe, and begin practicum teaching.
Month Four
  • Attend Immersion Weekend Seven.
  • Read Chapter Four of Yoga Sutra.
  • Begin teaching your Special Project and Seva program.
  • Assist, observe, and refine your practice teaching in various settings.
Month Five & Completion
  • Finalize teaching for your Special Project, Seva program, and Practicum.
  • Complete any outstanding reading assignments.
  • Submit your final written test to Rachel and schedule your Exit Interview.

Weekend Immersion Schedule (subject to slight adjustments):

  • Fridays: 5:00–9:00 PM
  • Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

By the end of this program, you will have developed the confidence, skill, and knowledge to teach with authenticity and impact.

Your Master Teachers

Your training is led by senior teacher Rachel Cieslewicz, whose expertise and passion for yoga create a transformative learning experience. Rachel is joined by a diverse faculty of guest instructors, each offering specialized knowledge in various aspects of yoga—from anatomy and sequencing to philosophy and energetics.

This program ensures that you not only refine your teaching skills but also gain exposure to different styles, perspectives, and teaching settings. By graduation, you will have discovered your unique voice as a teacher and developed the confidence to share yoga in a way that feels true to you.

  • Tuition: $3,300

We use PayPal as our payment processor to give you maximum flexibility. You can pay with a credit card, Venmo, or spread your payments over time using PayPal’s Pay Later program.
